FVMT All Stars

Fox Valley Metal-Tech is a member of the Northeast Wisconsin Manufacturing Alliance. The NEW Manufacturing Alliance is a group of manufacturers, working with educational institutions, workforce development boards, chambers of commerce and state organizations to promote manufacturing throughout Northeast Wisconsin.

The NEW Manufacturing Alliance has an annual competition to recognize manufacturing All Stars. The All Stars are included in a publication that has a circulation of approximately 20,000 and is used with hign school students to promote manufacturing as a career. FVMT has two All Stars that were recognized for the 2010 publication, Matt Busch a welder and Tim Dyer the Second Shift Shop Floor Supervisor.

Matt Busch

Matt is a welder at FVMT. He is certified to AWS and Military Specification standards. Matt was hired as a graduate from Northeast Wisconson Technical College where he graduated at the top of his class. He has continued to learn new techniques and has increased his skills over the years while working with FVMT.

Tim Dyer

Tim is the first person to be awarded the All Star Mentor award. Tim is the Second Shift Shop Floor Supervisor for FVMT. He is responsible for all operations on the second shift along with training of new employees and searching for continuous improvements. Tim has a natural ability to make good employees better and works with the side by side to help develop ways to work more efficiently will maintaining or improving on the quality of the part.
